The man responsible for Meat & Livestock Australia’s marketing and known for his Super Saiyan hairstyle, Andrew Howie, is moving on to a new role at Westpac.

Westpac and Howie confirmed to B&T that he will take on the newly created role of head of advertising at the bank in mid-November, reporting to the head of Westpac Group’s advertising and everyday banking division.

Commenting on his new role, Howie said: “Having banked with Westpac my whole life, the opportunity to join Australia’s first and oldest bank is something I am really excited about.

“I’m looking forward to joining the team and working with them to create globally recognised effective and creative advertising.”
