Following the success of its Millennials Marketing Conference in Sydney last year, Growth Tank is launching one for Melbourne later this year.

The two-day conference will feature keynote presentations, workshops and roundtable discussions by industry experts, giving brands the opportunity to learn how to bring their marketing strategies in line with the future consumers – Millennials.

The line-up of speakers will include leaders from Facebook, Instagram, The Urban List, TRIBE, BuzzFeed and MTV. The conference will also feature the most up-to-date research and case studies from Aussie-based agencies oOh! Media, Junkee Media, VICE, Soap Creative and Hello Social.

Growth Tank co-founder David Willey said Millennials are the fastest creators and even faster adopters.

“They are the biggest spending generation in history, yet Australian brands and businesses are missing out because of ineffective marketing strategies,” he said.

“Brands need to take a proactive approach when it comes to segmenting Millennials.

Willey said the aim of the conference is to support marketeers in understanding why this audience is vital, how to identify with them, and how to create the best possible strategies and tactics for building long lasting relationships with them on and offline.

“Businesses and brands should ask themselves whether they really know if Millennials connect with their brand,” he said.

“Are they actively building effective marketing strategies which are consistent and based on the latest insights and best practice?

“The Millennials Marketing Conference will uncover all of this in one place, with input from all of the biggest influencers.”

The conference will be held at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image in Melbourne Thursday 25 May and Friday 26 May, with early bird tickets going on sale today online.

Delegate Pass prices start at $499 for limited early bird tickets.
