Melbourne-based PR and communications agency Greenpoint Media has announced it has been appointed to handle Cricket Australia’s PR activities for the game development and grassroots space.

Greenpoint Media will oversee PR strategy and execution in the areas of participation growth, grassroots cricket and diversity cricket programs for Cricket Australia.

The agency’s first project will be to help launch ‘Play Cricket Week’ in September.

Ash Denman, managing director of Greenpoint Media, said the win proves that the agency is ready to take the next step in its growth and development.

“Being less than two years old and having worked with over 50 clients, we’re continuously evolving our PR and content marketing offerings to meet the demands of our clients, who are also evolving,” he said.

“We’re really excited to help build on the great work Cricket Australia is already doing in the community and to help tell their story.”

Greenpoint Media also recently hired Jayde Free from Data Creative as a campaign manager to help manage operations and support the agency’s growth.
