Foxtel Snares Cricket Australia’s Kim McConnie As Director Of Marketing – Sport

Foxtel has announced the recruitment of Kim McConnie as its new director of marketing – sport.

McConnie joins from Cricket Australia and the Big Bash League and follows the abrupt departure of Adam Ballesty from the role after only six months four weeks ago.

Announcing McConnie’s appointment, Kieren Cooney, Foxtel’s chief sales and marketing officer said: “We are thrilled to announce that Kim McConnie will be joining Foxtel as director of marketing – sport. 

 “Kim has an impressive media and sport background, most recently the GM of The Big Bash and prior to that has over 12 years of diverse marketing leadership experience within PepsiCo globally, most prominently, sports marketing in the US.  

“This is a key appointment for Foxtel and we are very excited that Kim will be joining the team. We are looking forward to her arrival next month,” Cooney said.

McConnie’s appointment is effective 8th April.
