Prime The Arteries! As Macca’s Unveils New Chicken Big Mac

Proving it’s more a cause for good than evil (but mostly evil) comes news out of McDonald’s Australia that it’s launching a new Big Mac but with chicken patties instead.

Macca’s decided to unveil the new burger, released in all its Aussie restaurants today, following persistent demands from customers for a poultry variety of its meatier staple.

The burger’s exactly the same as the original Big Mac, included that extra bun bit in the middle and the special sauce.

“The iconic Big Mac and the McChicken are among our most popular burgers, so it made sense to mix up these two classics and give our customers a new and exciting product to try – the Chicken Big Mac,” said Jenni Dill, McDonald’s Australia’s CMO.

And the good news keeps on coming from the burger behemoth. Were you a fan of its shaker fries last seen back in 2011 when they were discontinued from the menu? Well, hold onto your arteries, ’cause they’re back too!

Basically shaker fries are chips in a bag where you add extra salt and come out with cheese burger flavoured potato goodliness. Both menu items are for a limited time and will end mid July.
