Alt/Shift Snares Mazda’s PR Account

Alt/Shift has announced it has been appointed as the public relations agency for Mazda Australia.

The scope of the retainer extends into various elements of Mazda’s PR efforts, including the strategy and execution of lifestyle, consumer and travel media campaigns, event assistance, and the management of its influencer and ambassador program.

The Alt/Shift team commenced work on the account in January and played a key role in the successful lifestyle launch of the limited edition Mazda MX-5 RF in February.

Alt/Shift managing director Elly Hewitt said: “Mazda is an absolute powerhouse in the automotive space. The brand is progressive, clever and brave – from its product and culture to its future goals.

“It’s exactly the kind of brand our team get excited to work on, and we’re planning for a long and prosperous partnership.”

Mazda Australia’s senior manager for PR, Sonia Singh, said: “Alt/Shift have a culture of appointing only the most talented candidates, which has resulted in an agency with extensive knowledge across digital and traditional media, an acute understanding of how to feed into an integrated marketing strategy and fearless creativity.

“We are incredibly excited to be working with them.”
