Alt/Shift Launches Content Arm & Announces Sydney Expansion

Creative communications agency Alt/Shift has bolstered its offering with the launch of a content creation arm.

Led Alt/Shift’s content and social media director, Steph Grapsas, the new content division offers a full-service offering ranging from strategy and ideation, to content production, distribution via earned or paid channels, and support for clients’ internal content teams.

The new division is in response to content creation’s growing role within the agency’s campaigns.

Alt/Shift managing director Elly Hewitt (pictured above) said: “Increasingly, we’re seeing the value of high-quality, strategic content across our client campaigns, whether it’s part of an integrated campaign or ongoing content engine work.

“Engaging and inspiring content plays a huge role in both earned and owned media, and while we’ve been producing content for almost all of our campaign work for some time, we’ve decided to make it an increased focus for the agency with a dedicated team.”

Commenting on her new role, Grapsas said: “I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into more content-led work within a team that thinks beyond the traditional realms of PR, and is genuinely excited about how people experience and connect with brands.”

“Great content is a real game-changer for brands, and working within the Alt/Shift model – offering creative, strategy, planning, public relations, experiential, influencer marketing and sponsorship – means we can deliver more holistic and effective campaigns.”

The agency has also announced its expansion into the Sydney market to service both local and national clients, and is in the process of recruiting staff to accommodate this move.

“We’re inspired by the increased opportunities to work with Sydney-based brands, and to bring our out-of-the-box approach to a new market,” Hewitt said.

Since setting up shop in 2016, Alt/Shift has grown to 27 staff, including experiential partner Light Year Productions.
