Allen Scash Signs On As New Non-Exec Chairman Of MediaCom Melbourne

MediaCom Melbourne has announced Allen Scash will be joining the trendy team as non-executive chariman, with the role kicking off immediately.

Scash is a well known and highly regarded figurehead in the Melbourne market, having led Mitchell and Partners, Optimedia and ZenithMedia during his career of over 40 years in the advertising media industry.

He retired from his position as the MD of Mitchells a little over 12 months ago, but has been enticed back to the industry by what he sees as a passionate and energetic MediaCom team.

“I had no intentions of coming back to the industry, having been quite happy playing golf and fishing, but there’s a great team there at MediaCom and I feel like I have a lot to add,” Scash said.

MediaCom CEO Sean Seamer added, “Scash is a legend in our industry. He knows the Melbourne market inside out and I’m honoured that we have managed to garner his support.”

Scash was introduced to the MediaCom team last week and is in the process of building a thorough understanding of their business.
