The Projects wins Samsung business

Experiential agency The Projects has won big new business with Samsung Electronics.

The agency, which has offices in Sydney and Los Angeles, worked on campaigns for the launch of the Samsung Note II in Australia, as well as Samsung Mobile activations in the US, last year.

The new deal with the electronics giant will see The Projects work on a 12-month ‘influencer and engagement’ strategy for Samsung across all consumer products.

The agency has also been tasked with launching the latest Samsung Smart TVs.

Si Philby, partner at The Projects, said: “Samsung are probably the most exciting business in the world to be working with right now. Their product range is outstanding, they are market leaders in so many sectors and best of all they are prepared to take risks to do new things.

“Some of the ideas we talk about can go from a conversation to reality in a few hours, and that’s how we love to work.”

Arno Lenior (pictured), marketing director at Samsung Australia, added: “We were really impressed with the work we saw from The Projects for Samsung in the United States and immediately knew they were the right agency for what we want to achieve for Samsung in Australia. As Si says, we’re a brand that likes to move fast and The Projects proved they were up for this challenge.”
