Comedian’s Spoof Anti Same-sex Marriage Ad Goes Viral, While The Project’s Piss-take Cops Backlash

It was to be expected that the first the first ‘No’ campaign TV ad for same-sex marriage was going to encourage a rebuttal or two of sorts, but not all got the positive reaction they were looking for.

Aussie comedian Christian Hull has released a hilarious video mocking the nationally-televised commercial, dressing up as a woman and speaking in a high-pitched tone.

The video has already gathered over 890,000 views on Facebook since going live on Wednesday, along with 19,000 positive reactions and a ton of positive comments.

Meanwhile, Channel Ten’s The Project created its own piss-take of the anti same-sex marriage campaign.

However, despite garnering almost 600 likes on Twitter, the video also drew a swathe of negative criticism.
