Saving lives by having sex?

Being able to save a life by having sex almost seems too good to be true, but with the tagline “have sex, save a life” new condom company HERO Condoms indeed trying to make this happen.

With an emphasis on social responsibility and sustainability, for every condom sold in Australia HERO Condoms donates one to a developing country to help reduce the spreading of the HIV virus.

The condoms will be donated to a HIV organisation that will distribute the condoms to areas that currently do not have access to this essential protection.

HERO Condoms isn’t only focusing on reducing the effect of HIV, but its packaging is made out of 100% recycled cardboard, its latex is sources from within 30km of the factory meaning there are fewer emissions from transport and it also has water treatment and water recycling at its manufacturing centre.

HERO Condoms’ recent ad provides quite a playful spin on the tagline, and be forewarned, it probably wouldn’t be considered a G rating.
