The video starts with a voice over that says: “I love organising catch-ups with my friends. But they are a f***ing nightmare.”
The ad for The Best Day for iPhone app introduces Sarah “who never turns down an invitation”, Matt who always derails the planning by posting hilarious jokes, Nick who always hijacks the plan and others.
The campaign for the scheduling app, which was created by an Australian start-up with Entropico, will include social media and coverage in Australian and US tech and lifestyle press.
