MAD Week launches industry-wide Battle of the Bands

Adland, it’s time to stand up and answer the call – make your mums and, more importantly, your CEOs proud of you by competing in the inaugural MAD Week Battle of the Bands.

This event is not just for guitar-playing rockers, but DJs, MCs and solo singers as well, pitting the most talented people from all walks of the media, marketing and creative industries against each other in a gladiatorial match-up.

Your peers and a line-up of music industry experts will be the judges, with some top prizes on offer for the best artists including a day at a professional recording studio for the overall winners.

All you need to do to enter is fill out the form on the MAD Week website and send us a video of your band, which we will then post up on the site.

The artists with the most social shares and comments will progress to the next stage.

The final will be the closing event of MAD Week 2013, on Friday, July 19.

Entries are now open and close at 5pm Friday March 15, 2013, so make sure to spread the love and get your friends, co-workers, family members to help progress you to the next round. Good luck!
