Creative Matt Follows leaves Clemenger Sydney

Clemenger BBDO Sydney’s creative director, Matt Follows, has left the agency after only 10 months in the role.

Follows, who joined Clemenger in February, has gone back to the UK for personal reasons.

Paul Nagy (pictured) told B&T: “Matt is a wonderful talent and I'm very sorry to see him go, but family always has to come first and I wish him all the best for the future.”

News of Follows departure comes as Clemenger’s head of art, Michael Dole, gets set to join Publicis Mojo in January.

Dole’s exit was announced yesterday along with chief creative officer Craig Davis’ decision to leave Publicis Mojo Sydney.

Follows is the third creative director to leave Clemenger in the past four months.

In September, creative director Luke Chess and digital creative director James Theophane lost their jobs in a round of redundancies that affected five staff members.

Clemenger’s creative team is now lead by lone ECD Nagy, CD Rebecca Carrasco and Luke Hawkins as associate CD who partners with senior copywriter Ben Clare.
