The new biographical films have been done by different Australian filmmakers as part of the bank’s sponsorship of the awards scheme, and will be housed on its Facebook page www.canstories.com.au.

Nominees this year include former magazine guru Ita Buttrose, billionaire media mogul Kerry Stokes, media agency boss Harold Mitchell

Going live today people can view the films before voting for their favourite, and have a chance to win a VIP trip to the Cannes Film Festival.

Channels Ten and One will also screen each of the films on Australia Day, with the winning filmmaker zs voted by the public winning a cash prize from CommBank.
