ZOO Group Opens For Business In Singapore

With a planned opening this November, ZOO group’s first agency outside of Australasia will be lead by agency veteran Shirley Tay, managing director of Ogilvy Singapore, who departed the agency last week after 15 years.

Pawl Cubbin, ZOO group CEO said, “We are passionate about developing a strong, global, independent network and we know that attracting the best and brightest people in each region is crucial. Singapore is the right place for us to begin our journey and with Shirley on board, we’re confident it’s also the right time.”

On joining ZOO after almost two decades at Ogilvy, Tay said, “I am very excited to be a part of ZOO group and by the opportunity to build, shape and create something that truly adds value to the client’s business and the people that I work with. We’re keeping it simple by going back to basics and giving clients the tools to navigate and stand out in today’s complex environment. It is going to be daunting and challenging to start from ground zero, but at the same time exciting and fulfilling to be an important part of the group’s future plans.”

In the last year ZOO group has expanded its client base into a diverse portfolio, winning important projects from Ferrero Rocher, Brown-Forman, CSR and Red Energy as well as multiple government bodies.
