Voting has reached frenzied levels this week in B&T’s Women in Media, presented by Bauer Media, people’s choice award with more than five and a half thousand people casting their votes.

To celebrate, we’re revealing the top ten women across all categories by numbers of vote. Some categories have seen two entrants make the top ten, while others have had none of their entrants make the top 10.

With no further ado, here’s the most popular 10:

  1. Bessie Hassan, Finder.com.au
  2. Menka Nasta, Fairfax
  3. Kate Parry, Adshel
  4. Carmela Soares, Isobar Australia
  5. Sally Knight, Kinderling Kids Radio
  6. Kruti Patel, Isobar
  7. Jane Sullivan, MEC
  8. Kim Barnard, The Urban List
  9. Allana May, Priceline Pharmacy
  10. Catherine Krantz, Carat

In the Best Ad Campaign – Championing the Equality Cause, Host has maintained its lead over TBWA\Melbourne despite both entries tripling the number of votes they’ve wooed from suitors. The difference between the two remains on a razor’s edge with only 3.2 percentage points separating the entries. Host will be hoping the trend remains its friend.

In the employer of choice category, the good news keeps coming for The Works, which has claimed the lead from OMD Australia, which has also surrendered second spot to TBWA\Melbourne. However the voting in this category has been similarly hot and it remains anyone’s race.

The Male Champion of Change Award has seen its leader board rearranged as well, with Chris Chynoweth – Fox Sports, Kevin Macmillan – The Works Sydney and Jason Scott – Allure Media all changing positions. Macmillan now leads Scott and Chynoweth in that order.

If you’re in the race and not listed anywhere below, despair not! Rather, encourage your friends, family and loved ones to vote for you here.

Make sure you don’t miss out on witnessing who will be crowned the 2017 People’s Choice winner as well as all of our other winners on the evening by securing your ticket to our gala sit-down dinner and show here. And, of course, don’t forget to book your tickets for the The 3% Conference Australasia today too.
