Rove & Sam Are Having A Natter With Caitlyn Jenner And The Cookie Monster

Radio duo Rove & Sam have secured interviews with a number of big name superstars this week, including Caitlyn Jenner and the Cookie Monster.

The Southern Cross Austereo station is spruiking the fact it snagged an exclusive interview with Jenner. B&T has contacted SCA for further comment on what it means for the network.

In the first radio ratings for the year, Rove & Sam had a three point share, a number of points below their direct competition in the other FM stations. And while competitor company Australian Radio Network – who has the likes of Kyle & Jackie O – says it isn’t threatened at all by Rove & Sam, time will tell how these interviews spike interest.

Both the Cookie Monster and Caitlyn Jenner have been named brand ambassadors for two iconic brands – Cookie Monster for Apple and H&M and MAC Cosmetics for Jenner.

In a promo for the duo’s Sydney brekkie show on 2Day FM, Rove McManus and Sam Frost, the other names getting a chat include Superman and actress Melissa McCarthy.

And the Cookie Monster was making Australia squeal with delight at his visit Down Under, where he visited Taronga Zoo, was kissed by a kangaroo and had a selfie with a quokka.
