Eventbrite today announced it has signed a partnership with Rhythm and Vines, providing ticketing needs for New Zealand’s premier New Year’s music festival.

The iconic festival will rely on Eventbrite’s platform to provide a flexible and reliable ticketing service for punters, which will include multi-tiered ticketing options to seamlessly book a range of ticketing including accommodation packages and upgrade options all within the single platform.

“We chose Eventbrite because they offer a simple and straightforward experience for our company and our attendees,” said Kyle Bell, head of marketing at Rhythm and Vines.

“It is important to us to be able to offer a diverse range of ticketing options, on a trusted platform that is easy to navigate, and provides a pleasant user experience for our attendees,” he said.

“Ticket sales are up 30 per cent on last year’s festival already with the much anticipated lineup due to drop in August. We would expect the festival to be sold out well in advance this year.”

Founded 13 years ago, Rhythm and Vines is a longstanding three-day international music festival held in Gisborne, New Zealand on December 29-31 each year. It is the first festival in the world to welcome in the first sunrise of the new year.

“Rhythm and Vines is a marquee festival that is much-loved by its attendees, and we’re looking forward to making the ticketing process a smooth and headache-free experience for both the organisers and the attendees,” said Laura Huddle, head of marketing for Eventbrite Australia.

“One of the many benefits of having a horizontal platform is that Eventbrite’s technology appeals to a broad spectrum of events, from small cooking classes to large scale music festivals. This means we get the opportunity to work with a fabulous mix of events worldwide and locally, including The Dog Lover’s Show, MICE, and Tough Mudder,” she said.
