Enterprise advertising platform RadiumOne has announced the appointment of Patrick Darcy as commercial director Asia Pacific – spearheading the business’ sales efforts across Australia, Japan and South East Asia.
In his role Darcy will be responsible for providing brands and agencies with access to RadiumOne’s audience buying platform and globally patented proprietary social data tool – Sharegraph.
“When I look at where the market is heading with automated media buying, I see RadiumOne’s combination of proprietary data and delivery capability as uniquely positioned to service the next stage of evolution in the market,” said Darcy.
“Not only does RadiumOne have a best of breed end-to-end platform, they also boast some of the industry’s smartest and most influential thinkers across APAC, North America and the UK. It’s an offering that stands out as unique in an increasingly cluttered ad-tech landscape. The next phase of growth and sophistication in programmatic advertising is absolutely upon us, especially in this region, and RadiumOne is undoubtedly one of the companies best positioned to lead the industry through this next important phase.
Darcy brings a wealth of programmatic and digital media experience to the company, having previously worked as director of programmatic trading at Australia’s largest publisher group, Mi9. He was one of the early pioneers of programmatic in Australia, starting in the space three years ago and building a market leading publisher trading desk that is now regarded as one of the best in the country.
“I think that anybody who knows the space well will agree that Pat is exceptional in terms of talent and depth of knowledge across the supply, demand and technology sides of real-time bidding (RTB). We are deeply committed to building a great leadership team as we expand across the region and Pat is the calibre of individual we need onboard to solve what are often complex business issues for brands and publishers,” commented Kerry McCabe, managing director APAC, RadiumOne.
