Paul Brooks Appointed Amplifi’s MD of Investments And Partnerships

Denstsu Aegis Network has appointed Paul Brooks to the newly created position of managing director investment and partnerships within Amplifi, the Group’s media investment arm.

Brooks comes to the role with a wealth of experience, first at Group M and more recently as head of investment & partnerships for Carat Australia & New Zealand. He will report to the CEO of Amplifi & Performance, Matt Crook.  Alex Pekish, Andrew Reid and Kerry Fyans will continue to lead in their respective key pillars of investment, digital and data and global and domestic partnerships within Amplifi.

Part of Brooks’ role will be to oversee Amplifi’s investment and media partnerships specialist divisions while continuing his direct involvement with Dentsu Aegis Network clients.

Speaking of this key executive appointment, Matt Crook said, “Over the past year, Amplifi has made great strides across its three pillars of investment, global and domestic partnerships and data lead programmatic delivery. As these key areas become more and more important to our clients, we felt the time was right to invest further into what is already a very strong leadership group.”

“Having worked closely with Paul, he was an obvious choice for this role.  Paul has strong relationships with clients and media partners as well as a keen understanding of required technology and infrastructure partnerships to ensure Amplifi will deliver on its ambitious goals for our clients for 2015 and beyond. With his keen understanding of the future of investment strategy and consumer dynamics, I have no doubt Paul will excel in this role”.

Brooks said, “I am delighted to be taking on this newly created role within Amplifi.  I have been nothing but impressed with the Dentsu Aegis Network since I joined Carat last year and I look forward to contributing at a broader level.  I particularly look forward to working more closely with Alex and our investment team at a Group-level – they have a great reputation in this market.

“I am excited at what we have achieved so far, but more excited about what we can achieve in 2015 and beyond delivering a unique proposition for our clients.”

Paul is based in Dentsu Aegis Network’s Sydney office and the appointment is effective immediately.
