Ogilvy PR has today announced the appointment of Ant Kelaher as chief growth officer.

Kelaher’s role will add senior counsel and leadership for a number of key clients as well as delivering on the agency’s strategic growth plan.

Kelaher worked at Ogilvy PR for three years until 2014 when he moved to New York spending seven years leading the agencies Edelman, Fleishman Hillard and Golin.

Richard Brett, CEO of Ogilvy PR and Ogilvy Health said: “I am beyond thrilled to welcome Ant back to the Ogilvy PR family. He is an incredibly smart and talented operator – brilliant at client service, fantastic at new business and a valuable cultural contributor.”

“With his recent international experience we’re excited for him to bring a fresh perspective to our agency strategy, marketing, investments, new business and organic growth opportunities.”

Ant Kelaher said: “It’s an honour to re-join Ogilvy PR following my years working in the US. I look forward to partnering with Richard and the team to drive growth and success during such an exciting time as part of the broader Ogilvy Network.”

Kelaher takes on the role from Jacquie Potter who was appointed managing director of Howorth, Ogilvy PR’s technology and business communications consultancy, in March 2020.

Ogilvy PR has also just made 25 promotions across the company’s leadership, communications, social, content and operations’ teams as the business grows.

Senior promotions include Brian Corrigan to head of editorial and David Radestock to senior business director.

The roles reflect the agency’s new consultancy structure that groups all team members either as a specialist – focusing on a technical or specialist communication skill – or as a subject matter expert – focused on a specific client or industry.

Brett added: “We know that our key strength as an agency is our people and investing in their continued development and specialisms is an ongoing priority. The volume of promotions across the agency is testament to our team members’ hard work and the exceptional results they deliver for our clients and business day in, day out.”
