MediaCom Australia has appointed Stephen Meares as commercial director.
Previously the chief financial officer for Publicis Mojo from 2010 – 2015, Meares joins MediaCom as commercial director where his main objective will be to manage and develop the financial and commercial product for MediaCom Australia. Meares will report directly to Mark Heap (acting CEO MediaCom Australia) and Jeff Hunt, GroupM Australia CFO, and during his tenure will ensure the delivery of best in class financial reporting and commercial growth nationally.

MediaCom also strengthens its commercial product with the appointment of Dean Rawnsley as commercial manager. Rawnsley has a number of years experience in the commercial and finance world of advertising, having started his career at GPY&R, and more recently working at Dentsu and Publicis.
Meares begins his appointment with the Content & Connections agency on Thursday 25th June, with Rawnsley’s tenure effective immediately.
