Planet Ark Nabs New Ambassador

Environmental organisation, Planet Ark, has appointed interior style guru, James Treble, as its newest ambassador.

Treble, who is regularly seen on televisions around Australia as the resident interior designer on Channel 10’s The Living Room, and who features as an “expert” in Homes + magazine, is excited by his new role representing a cause he is very passionate about.

Treble’s role will see him promote and endorse Planet Ark campaigns, and to support the ethos of the organisation.

“I am absolutely thrilled to be the new Planet Ark Ambassador. As an interior designer and stylist I am constantly aware of my environmental footprint, so I am always looking for ways to utilise recyclable material, or select more environmentally friendly products,” he said.

“Being chosen to represent an organisation that aims toward educating and encouraging people to exist more symbiotically with nature is an absolute honour, and something I passionately endorse.”

Planet Ark is also thrilled to have Treble on board; a person who is the perfect fit for the environmental foundation due to his passion for the environment.

“We’re delighted to welcome James to our team of committed ambassadors who truly believe in making a difference through inspiring people to take simple, everyday actions and make good environmental choices,” said Brad Gray, head of campaigns at Planet Ark. “James’ expertise in interior designs, recycling and upcycling will be a great asset to our campaigns.”

Treble’s first responsibility as Planet Ark Ambassador will be to front our upcoming ‘Make It Wood – Do Your World Some Good’ campaign, which highlights the environmental benefits of using responsibly sourced wood as a building material.

The Planet Ark initiative, which kicks off on World Wood Day on March 21st, aims to encourage people to choose wood for its beauty and versatility as well as its positive environmental benefits.
