Miami Ad School First College To Offer Facebook Blueprint E-Learning

Miami Ad School today announced that it is partnering with Facebook to incorporate the Facebook Blueprint e-learning into the curriculum of its Social Media Boot Camp. The global school is the only school in the world to currently offer this program. It will serve as the pilot program for how Blueprint will work with secondary education institutions in the future.

The e-learning program leads to Blueprint Certification which helps digital advertising professionals differentiate themselves in a competitive job market, provides the advertising industry with a better understanding of Facebook advertising to help maximize return on investment and gives businesses a way to select and retain people with expertise in the Facebook family of products and services.

The 10-week Social Media Boot Camp is an intensive, condensed program where participants gain expertise across all aspects of social media, from content strategies, insights, paid media, publishing, decoding, texting campaigns to understanding data and analytics and future trends.

Senior social media experts from top agencies and Google will each conduct a workshop. Instructors include Toby Clark, Planner, Clemenger BBDO; Thijs van Dam, Head of Social, Digital Arts Network; Jerker Fagerstrom, ECD, McCann; Nathan Guerra, Google Evangelist, Google; Andy McCowan Head of Insight and Carly Yanco, Senior Integrated Planner, JWT; Carlos de Spinola, Strategy Director, We are Social; Brie Stewart, Head of Social at Ogilvy; Linda Tran, Communications Strategy Director, Leo Burnett; Fei Wang, Senior Digital Strategist, One Green Bean; Alex Watts, Head of Social, Marcel.

Students team with creatives to build a portfolio of social campaigns including pitches based on a real client brief. The Social Media Boot Camp is suitable for planners, creatives, account managers, business owners and brand managers. It starts on 3 October and finishes mid December 2016. All classes taught after hours, from 6.30pm to 9.15 pm Mondays to Fridays. Tuition costs is $5,500. Limited places are available. To apply, email helga@miamiadschool.com.
