Carat Wins Beacon Lighting’s $10m Media Account

Carat has been appointed the agency of record for Aussie lighting retailer Beacon Lighting following a competitive pitch, with billings in excess of $10 million.

Beacon Lighting, sought out a new agency partner to provide leadership and innovation to navigate the increasingly challenging retail category.

Prue Robinson, marketing director at Beacon Lighting, said: “We felt great chemistry with the Carat team – their passion for working with our brand was obvious from the start. We look forward to exploring new ideas together to further enhance the Beacon brand.”

The account will be led out of Carat’s Melbourne office, with managing director Joseph Pardillo describing the win as an “exciting and proud” moment for the agency.

“It’s fantastic to be partnering with an iconic brand of Beacon’s calibre,” he said.

“They have a longstanding relationship with Australian consumers, one we look forward to helping develop further in this new digital retail economy.

Beacon’s full scope of responsibilities will transition to Carat over the coming months.
