July was a big month full of viral web moments.

France weren’t the only winners last month as brands fought to be the biggest on Twitter in particular, gaming giants Bethesda and Xbox.

With the FIFA World Cup wrapping up, other sports came to the forefront, with the retirements of AFL great Cyril Rioli and Supercars veteran Craig Lowndes celebrated on Twitter.
