Bedshed Boosts MarketingTeam With Two New Hires

Specialist mattress and bedroom furniture franchise, Bedshed, has appointed two new members to its marketing team as the retailer continues to expand.

Luke Clarke joins Bedshed as national marketing manager, with Daniel Fordyce stepping into the role of assistant marketing manager/ digital specialist.

Luke has over fifteen years’ experience managing brand image, with recent roles at Industrial Recruitment Partners and Minkz Furniture and Homewares, along with managing the Marketing for 200 trade stores in the UK. “It’s an incredibly exciting time to be in the marketing industry, and I’m looking forward to the challenge of delivering great ROI from B2B and consumer marketing efforts whilst supporting our franchisees to continue to grow store sales.”

Fordyce has more than ten years’ experience in the marketing world and has recently driven digital campaigns for the likes of American Express and Tourism Western Australia. Of his new role, he said, “Digital is constantly evolving and now a core marketing function, and I’m keen to combine this with traditional marketing in my new role as part of the Bedshed team.”

Bedshed’s new hires in the marketing team come as the brand continues to open new stores across Australia. General manager, Gavin Culmsee said marketing is extremely important to the business’ growth plans.

“Strong digital and brand marketing skills are paramount for Bedshed’s continued growth, which is why we’re delighted to have Luke and Daniel on board. We are looking to build upon the work already done connecting with our consumer and business audiences, and look forward to Luke and Daniel helping us make great progress towards Bedshed’s bright future.”
