ADMA Creative School Melbourne Wins Coveted Best in Class Award

Full time RMIT student Sheena Jamieson was awarded ADMA’s Creative School Melbourne’s top honours award at their recent graduation ceremony.

At the celebration held at Campari House in Melbourne, the 10 Creative School graduates congratulated Sheena Jamieson on her Best in Class award, while runner-up Ljubica Vrankovic and highly commended Eric Reims were also praised for their inventiveness and hard work during the 10 week programme.

Ogilvy Melbourne executive creative director and head tutor David Ponce de Leon noted that Sheena is “a worthy winner, and amongst a very high level of submissions she stood head and shoulders above the rest.”

“Anyone doing well at ADMA Creative School should be job ready. That’s what we believe. And that’s why Ogilvy Melbourne has offered Sheena, Ljubica and Eric the opportunity to do a creative internship at our agency. It’s part of our duty to give the next generation of creative talent a kick-start to their careers.”

ADMA CEO Jodie Sangster added “Our Creative School programmes offer up and coming young executives like Sheena an unprecedented opportunity to be inspired by and learn from some of the most celebrated and respected creative directors in Australia”.

“My mantra is that creativity is the link between the data and the all-important customer so our industry needs to support, champion and drive forward the creative impulse at every possible opportunity.”

“ADMA, and the graduates of our Creative School both in Melbourne and Sydney, are fortunate that industry leaders like David Ponce de Leon are passionate about supporting young creatives. ADMA Creative School is going some way towards addressing the issue around shortages of junior copywriters and creative directors in the industry and I’d like to think David and all of our tutors for their continued dedication and support.”
