New Brand Communications Agency Launches On The Gold Coast

A new brand communications agency has officially launched on the Gold Coast, with three of the cities industry heavyweights joining forces to create KK&O. Agency.

With an impressive list of foundation clients, KK&O. will offer marketing strategy, brand consulting, design, communications and digital marketing, with a focus on helping Gold Coast businesses create meaningful campaigns that deliver lasting business impact.

KK&O. launches with an experienced executive team, with founders Ty Kudla, Rebbecca Kent and Kat Orchard (featured image, right) no strangers to operating businesses on the glitter strip.

With one in five Gold Coasters working for themselves, the trio are familiar faces in business circles; with 40/40 Creative, Randy Wallhole and The Pineapple Republic (owned by McCann Worldgroup), just a few of their past business ventures.

The emerging entrepreneur scene is one of the driving forces behind the creation of the agency, with Ty Kudla (featured image, left) sharing that KK&O. isn’t in the business of providing cookie-cutter solutions to their client base.

Kudla said: “The Gold Coast is absolutely pumping with energy and opportunity, and we want to be a part of that narrative.”

Co-Founder Kent echo’s the need for the Gold Coast to have access to an agency that understands the business landscape and provides high level brand incubation, marketing consultation and communication strategies, all under the one banner.

Rebecca Kent (featured image, center) said: “There has definitely been a shift from small-business mentality to an entrepreneurial mindset, and the need for more full-service agencies offering complete creative solutions is crucial to the ongoing growth of business on the Gold Coast.”

Kudla added: “Agency is a less-risky solution for businesses who need experts in campaign delivery; it removes the painful process of finding the right candidate and the stress of the financial outlay that hiring internal staff brings.”

With significant investment into the infrastructure in supporting entrepreneurs, KK&O. are based out of Cohort; the new innovation and tech co-working space located in the Health and Knowledge precinct in Southport.

Kent concluded: “Being amongst innovators and cultural shapeshifters is inspiring.

“Working amongst people who are passionate and have good energy feeds our drive to collaborate with some of the Coasts thought leaders.

“There’s enough work to go around and we’re ready to give this all we’ve got.”
