Leo Burnett Expands Brand With Launch Of New Division

Leo Burnett Sydney has redefined its planning offering with the launch of Leo Burnett Connect Strategy. Connect Strategy is an integral extension of its successful specialist communications planning and content division, Leo Burnet Connect.

Leading the new division is head of Connect Strategy Emma Montgomery, who has been promoted to the role following her success as head of Connect over the past year. The cross-discipline team will be joined by new strategy directors Emily Taylor, Graham Alvarez and Ross Cameron who bring with them a wealth of experience and diverse talent.

Pete Bosilkovski, managing director, Leo Burnett Sydney, said: “Since its launch in 2014, Connect has been a huge success in solving business problems in the connected world. It has fundamentally changed how we engage with clients and create work. Understanding how we shift and influence consumer behaviour in our connected world is becoming paramount to our creative success. Emma has been instrumental in that success – establishing Connect and rapidly growing the business and her well-deserved promotion recognises those achievements.

“Our business operates in constant beta mode to ensure we are always evolving and leading the industry as a progressive business. The introduction of Connect Strategy exemplifies our ongoing drive for continuous reinvention.

Montgomery added: “I am excited to continue the transformation we have made with Connect through to the strategic heart of the business. Connect is all about problem solving in the connected world, helping to craft and deliver creative solutions that positively influence behaviour.

“Having the expertise we have curated upfront, from brand planning to connections thinking, to data planning, digital, PR, retail and consumer insights specialists, will help us consistently unlock effective solutions that connect people and brands.”
