Latest Cosmo Magazine Calls On Readers To Vote For Their Favourite Influencers

Cosmopolitan Australia today launched the very first #YourCosmoCover campaign.

#YourCosmoCover allows readers to vote for the influencers they want to see on the upcoming September edition’s cover.

The Cosmo team hand-selected sixteen of Australia’s most successful female influencers to be in the running to feature as a cover star in September. Included are Tammy Hembrow, Queensland-based fitness expert and mother-of-two with an incredible 8.2 million Instagram followers and Sydney’s Li-Chi Pan; photographer, architect graduate and highly sought-after content creator.

Cosmo’s move to bring their reader’s favourite social media stars off their screens and onto the pages of their favourite magazine follows Bauer Media 2018 influencers research piece. The insights show that 80 per cent of consumers trust the influencers they follow and 81 per cent have actually purchased a product after seeing it on an influencer’s post.

“The Cosmo brand has always been an authoritative voice for young Australian women,” said Fiorella di Santo, Bauer Media general manager, publishing – fashion, luxury, food and home. “There’s no denying the power of influencers continues to grow, and this campaign is an acknowledgement of these successful women who have parlayed their social media into a booming business.”

Of the nomination, influencer Jade Tuncdoruk (@jadetunchy) said “I’m so happy to be nominated for the #YourCosmoCover campaign this year! I’ve absolutely loved working with Cosmo in the past and have adored reading the magazine for many years now. I’m thrilled to have a chance to be on the cover alongside some of Australia’s most inspiring women”.

Cosmo’s June edition, on sale today, announces the impressive shortlist, featuring entrepreneurial young women who’ve turned their social media account into a highly successful career.

Cosmo readers can vote for their favourite influencer online at Cosmopolitan.com.au until June 3rd, with the winners revealed on the cover of the September 2018 issue, on sale 6th August, 2018.
