Kate & Co. PR Wins Melbourne Fashion Week 2020 Account

Kate & Co. as announced the agency’s appointment as PR agency for Melbourne Fashion Week 2020.

Kate & Co. Managing Director, Kate Keane, said, “Having managed Melbourne Fashion Week in 2016 and 2017, we’re looking forward to working closely with City of Melbourne to take the event to a new level in 2020.”

Kate & Co. will manage a comprehensive and integrated PR strategy for Melbourne Fashion Week.

Keane says, “We are delighted to welcome the MFW account back to our agency. Our fashion team are dedicated, passionate and live and breathe all things related to the Australian fashion and retail industry so it’s a perfect fit for us.”

In addition to the MFW win, Kate & Co. is building on the agency’s vast retail experience, working with QIC GRE on new projects to support the developer’s key retail precincts in Victoria.

After undergoing a re-structure in 2019, which saw Kate Keane become sole Director of the business, Kate & Co. is looking forward to a successful year ahead, with more exciting announcements to come.

To kick-start 2020, Kate & Co. has a series of staff announcements.

Amanda Grainger has returned to Kate & Co. post maternity leave to her part-time role as Business Development Director, focusing on new business development for the agency.

Daniella Sorace has been internally promoted to Senior Account Director. Daniella will continue to manage the Retail, Fashion and Consumer division as well as managing client PR strategies and brand building. Having worked in PR for over a decade, she has previously held roles at Myer, The Victoria Racing Club, L’Oreal and AMPR.

Marisa Jayne has been promoted to Account Manager. Marisa will continue to work across key agency clients including the Australian Turf Club and Coles Supermarkets.

Rachel Collister has been promoted to Senior Account Executive. In her role, she will work predominantly across the agency’s fashion and retail clients, as well as continuing her role as Showroom Manager. Rachel joined Kate & Co. in early 2019 after previously holding the position as Marketing & PR Manager at Unreal Fur.
