Isentia customers can expand on Mediaportal’s software-as-a-service solution by using customisable story alerts and content management to tailor insights to their specific needs.

Developed following a year of extensive client research, the redesign features an intuitive interface with single-click response functionality and a side menu for easy access to critical tools. The platform has also been extended to include a new mobile-responsive site, bringing Mediaportal’s cloud-based system into the hands of professionals on the go.

Other features includes:

  • Bespoke content management with ability to collate by attributes such as type and location.
  • Top of page search function for quick content discovery.
  • Easy accessibility of print, online and social items.
  • Ongoing updates to ensure Mediaportal remains at the cutting-edge of business intelligence tools.

John Croll, chief executive officer at Isentia said the intuitive feel of the redesign is based on both client feedback and market trends, ensuring Mediaportal is built for client needs both today and into the future.

“We live in a world driven by immediacy and for our clients working within the news cycle, time is of the essence,” said Croll. “By making it easier for clients to find and analyse headlines, trends and conversations as they unfold, Mediaportal’s new features will help empower their day to day decisions.”

Chief executive of media intelligence, Sean Smith, said the new features form an integral part of Isentia’s offering, further integrating its media intelligence, insights and content portfolio.

“Isentia has more than 7000 global clients who rely on our relentless product innovation to inform their businesses,” Smith said. “For more than a decade Mediaportal has played a key role for clients and can now be customised to suit their unique business challenges. It is just the first step in our plan to revolutionise the depth of insights available at our clients’ fingertips.”
