Ad intelligence company Integral Ad Science has opened an office in Sydney and announced the appointment of James Diamond as managing director for Australia and New Zealand.
Ranked by Forbes last month as number 15 on the publication’s list of America’s Most Promising Companies, Integral Ad Science is a global technology company focused on ensuring safe, quality media environments for online advertisers.
Based in Sydney, Diamond will be responsible for managing the company’s market presence in Australia and New Zealand, building the team, developing strategic partnerships, overseeing new revenue opportunities and delivering customer satisfaction among trading desks, media agencies, advertisers, demand side technology vendors (DSP’s, DMP’s), and supply side with exchanges, publishers, and advertising networks.
Diamond has 14 years’ experience in the advertising, marketing and IT industries during which time he has managed sales teams and clients across a portfolio of international brands and delivered organisation-wide transformational projects. He has also managed teams to deliver customer insights and marketing intelligence that have driven commercial decision making and marketing strategy for blue chip global brands.
Diamond joins Integral Ad Science from Acxiom where he held a range of senior management roles over four years both in Australia and across UK. In his latest role as commercial director, he was responsible for delivering against company revenue. Prior, he was client services director and head of digital agency during which time he managed the relationship with one of the world’s largest global financial organisations to deliver effective marketing strategies to its customers.
Prior, Diamond worked for Salmat for almost 10 years in several management roles. As technical sales manager, he was responsible for designing integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns for many of Australia’s blue chip retailers and finance organisations. In his role as business support manager, he provided technical sales support to key clients. He also project managed the largest technology project ever undertaken by MediaForce with the design of a new business intelligence system.
