Communications agency History Will Be Kind (HWBK) has teamed up with amaysim following a competitive pitch for its PR strategy and support retainer.
The mobile service provider has enlisted the help of HWBK to build awareness of its services across mobile, broadband, energy and tech store.
At the core of the agency’s remit will be a focus on boosting amaysim’s reputation for untangling life’s complexities and providing just what people need, while leveraging the momentum of rapid customer growth spearheaded by its $10 and $20 unlimited mobile plans.
Julian Rosenberg, PR and media manager at amaysim, said HWBK will act as an extension of the team to communicate the company’s vision, credentials and unique offering, building its share of voice in market.
“Our focus is to deliver services in a way that empowers people to get on with living,” he said.
“HWBK’s approach to PR aligns perfectly with the way amaysim is running its business. We’re thrilled to welcome the team into the fold and look forward to creating impactful activities for our products and brand.”
Emma-Jane Granleese, managing partner of HWBK, said amaysim has a unique story to tell.
“Some of Australia knows it is a fantastic mobile service provider, but in reality, it provides customers with a full suite of household services with a compelling level of flexibility, transparency and value, and delivers an outstanding customer experience,” she said.
“The opportunity to work with more forward-thinking, technology-driven companies is fantastic, and we are excited to be part of amaysim’s journey.”
The win for HWBK comes off the back of a raft of new client wins, including the Nestlé confectionery portfolio alongside retained communications for Google.
