Frost*collective Makes Key Hire For Urbanite

Brand design agency Frost*collective has announced the appointment of Katie Lodge as new business manager of its branded environment business, Urbanite.

Working alongside the business’ lead, Carlo Giannasca, Lodge has been appointed to the newly-created position to broaden Urbanite’s portfolio and further strengthen its market position in the area of brand in the built environment.

Lodge joins Urbanite from global real estate group Savills, where she most recently worked as its marketing and business development manager.

Prior to Savills, Lodge held business development and architectural roles with technical consulting company GHD.

Giannasca said attracting someone of Lodge’s calibre to Urbanite is an exciting win for the team.

“Her depth of understanding across commercial property development and the complexities of the process will add real value to our new business activities,” he said.

“We are certainly looking forward to her fresh perspective and proven ability to uncover new market opportunities.”

Commenting on her appointment, Lodge said: “Having admired the work of The Frost*collective for many years, I am thrilled to be joining a team of creative thinkers who are passionate about designing authentic and meaningful experiences.

“Right now in Sydney, we are witnessing some incredible and exciting changes in the property and built environment sector, so I’m really looking forward to continuing to engage with industry peers, nurture existing relationships and collaborate to form new ones.

“My approach will be, as it always has throughout my career, to do this with lots of energy, passion and enthusiasm.”
