InstaReM, which offers international money transfers to individuals and businesses, has signed on Australian wicketkeeper Matthew Wade as the sports face of the brand.
InstaReM lists Australia as its founding market, having begun life here in 2014.
Since the company’s modest start in Australia, InstaReM has since successfully spread its wings to other corridors by obtaining the regulatory licenses in Singapore, Hong Kong, Canada, Europe and India.
The international wicketkeeper has represented Australia in all forms of cricket, and has proven to be a resilient sportsman, having overcome cancer at the age of 16.
As a part of the agreement, Wade will be placing the InstaReM logo at the back of his cricket bat, which he will be using during his training sessions or at certain times during matches until September 2018.
Welcoming Wade on board, InstaReM co-founder and CEO Prajit Nanu said: “Wade has been a valuable player for team Australia. Through his career, he has proven his mantle by continuously upgrading his game and being a dependable team member.
“Innovation and dependability are two attributes our customers identify with InstaReM, too.”
Confirming the association, Wade said: “InstaReM is doing a great job at keeping people connected to their families back home and helping them save a few bucks in the process.
“I tried them and now totally count on InstaReM to transfer money back home. It’s easy, it’s fast, and they remit at real-time rates.”
