Coast Clothing Co, Australia’s leading coastal-inspired men’s lifestyle brand, this year celebrates 20 years in business.
The label, recently acquired by the Carrington Clarke Group, is also celebrating a new distribution deal with The Iconic, the leading online fashion and sports retailer in Australia and New Zealand.
Said Patrick Clarke owner and director of The Carrington Clarke Group (CCG). “I have been coveting the Coast Clothing brand for over 10 years. CCG has a recipe of picking up long established brands and refreshing them with the help of the right people and turning the brands fortunes’ around, as we did with Cooper St, turning it back into a relevant brand again which we are proud to see is now a top 20 brand on The Iconic and continuing its success with Myer”.
He continued “We sold Cooper St, to Hotsprings earlier this year, who made me aware Coast Clothing Co. was excess to Hotsprings plans. I was silently delighted after all it’s not often a 20-year iconic brand name comes onto the market”.
Coast Clothing Co. epitomizes the casual and relaxed Australian way of life providing style & comfort in both beach and sleepwear for men & has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with department stores Myer & David Jones for its entire existence. Their footprint has now been increased with The ICONIC stocking the brand.
Most recently Coast Clothing Co launched their SS16 range of PJ’s & board shorts – with a little help from Sydney Swans Captain Jarrad’s model wife – Clementine McVeigh. Clementine modelled Pyjamas and the brand’s ever-versatile white linen shirt. *Images attached.
