The Association of Market and Social Research Organisations (AMSRO) has partnered with management and leadership practice body, the Institute of Managers and Leaders (IML).

The new partnership with IML will provide AMSRO member CEOs exclusive access to IML’s professional development and mentoring programs, people analytics tools, exclusive leadership resources and insights, and access to member lounges around Australia to support employee performance to produce outstanding business results. AMSRO and its organisations now join the largest trans-Tasman network of managers and leaders.

AMSRO president Craig Young said: “This latest partnership for AMSRO brings the business of people into sharp focus.

“In an age of technology-led disruption, it’s still the case that our people overwhelmingly drive business success.

“As business leaders, it’s critical that we continue to invest in the capability of our people, and a big part of that is developing the ability to successfully lead and manage other people.

“IML specialises in creating leaders and honing the skills necessary to ‘create better managers and leaders for a better society’.

“It’s a great benefit for our members, one which will deliver value to the industry and our clients.”

IML chief executive David Pich said: “The Institute is proud to be supporting sound management and leadership at AMSRO, a neighbouring peak body we at IML admire for their commitment to ethics and privacy.

“Through our strategic partnership, IML will help advance the market and social research industry through developing and accrediting management and leadership excellence across organisations, staff and leaders.”

AMSRO executive director Sarah Campbell said: “With over 90 member organisations representing Australia’s leading research, data and insights companies, AMSRO is always on the lookout for like-minded partners to expand and enhance our member services.

“This exciting new partnership gives AMSRO members access to IML Corporate and Professional Membership, People Analytics Tools, Development Programs and the internationally recognised ‘Chartered Manager’ designation and is a perfect addition to our suite of member services for leaders.”
