ZSPACE Brings Back The Romance To Caravans And Camping

ZSPACE captures the romance and nostalgia of camping in a new TV campaign for the CARAVAN AND CAMPING INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION of NSW.

The message is simple. Slow down, unplug, pack the car and gather your loved ones to experience the back-to-basics closeness that a camping holiday can bring to a family, a couple or a group of friends.

The Caravan and Camping Association (CCIA) of NSW launches a new TV and Online Campaign this week inspiring the audience to tap into their natural instincts and take family and friends away from the technology and distractions of daily life and into the great outdoors.

Creative studio ZSPACE developed the concept, wrote and produced the three commercials in close creative collaboration with CCIA who wanted to focus on the romance of Caravanning and Camping, of being surrounded by nature and sleeping under the stars.

“We are very proud of this new campaign, It reminds us of the simple things in life and how gathering around a camp – whether in a tent, campervan or a caravan – can bring us together” CCIA NSW CEO, Lyndel Gray said today.

“The ads ask a simple question, ‘when was the last time’… and draws on the memories we have of holidays experienced at nature’s doorstep where everyone pitches in to create their home for the night.

“These spots were an absolute joy to produce” said Angela Kargilis, EP at ZSPACE.

“CCIA gave ZSPACE absolute trust and freedom to explore the more emotional side of camping where it’s the relationships and memories that are a strong part of the attraction, where nature and the basics of life become priorities.

CCIA has evidence of the enormous benefits people gain from spending time outdoors, being active and connecting with nature, and these benefits include feeling happier, more positive and healthier.

“Research both here, and in the UK, shows children particularly benefit from getting outdoors and enjoying what camping has to offer. A recent study undertaken by Plymouth University found camping had a positive effect on children’s education and helped to build happier, healthier kids.”

The evocative imagery was shot around NSW at CCIA member parks in Kangaroo Valley, Shellharbour and Port Stephens.
