Netflix Denies There Will Be Ads On The Platform

News that some users had started seeing trailers for other Netflix shows while tuning into content from the streaming service sent the Internet into a tizz.

Users took to numerous social media outlets to air their disdain should the SVOD (streaming video on demand) service dare place ads before the program.

At the time, Netflix had said they weren’t ads in the traditional sense, “they are trailers for Netflix originals”.

Now Reed Hastings, co-founder and CEO of Netflix, has posted on Facebook the streaming service will not be serving ads. Period.
