BWM Appoints Executive Creative Director

After a 12-month search, Belgiovane Williams Mackay (BWM) has appointed Asheen Naidu to the role of executive creative director of BWM Group Sydney.

Commencing in January 2015, Naidu will be working with Rob Belgiovane, BWM Group chief creative officer, and Murray White, BWM Melbourne executive creative director, to lead BWM Creative following new client wins including Jemena, NBN, News Limited, Medibank float, RACT and CarsGuide.

During his career, Naidu has worked for renowned international agencies such as BBH, The Campaign Palace, Leo Burnett and Saatchi & Saatchi. He has collected more than 70 awards, including 10 Cannes Lions and three Effies, for highly successful campaigns such as NRMA ‘Car Creation’.

Rob Belgiovane, chief creative officer of BWM Group, said: “Asheen will be a great asset to the BWM Sydney team and clients. Aside from being highly awarded, he has consistently delivered successful and highly effective work for major national and international brands across a diverse range of channels and mediums.

Naidu will drive BWM’s talented creative team in Sydney, joining Tom Manion, Kevin MacNamara, Sean Lavery, Chris McMullen, James Russell, Zac Pritchard, Adam Guastella, Fee Millist and Sam Grant

Asheen joins BWM after three-years at Whybin/TBWA where he held the role of creative director. He began his career working at top agencies in South Africa, before making his mark on agencies in Singapore, New York, and now Australia.
