AppNexus Announces Round Of Senior Executive Promotions

Independent advertising technology company AppNexus has announced a round of senior executive promotions. 

Theresa Vu has been appointed to the role of senior vice president (SVP) of engineering, Julie Kapsch has been appointed to the role of SVP of professional services, Andrew Rutledge has been appointed to the role of SVP for North American sales and account management, and Joshua Zeitz has been appointed to the role of SVP of marketing and communications. 

As SVP of engineering, Vu will oversee teams that develop AppNexus’ platform and will also be responsible for global engineering initiatives regarding quality, leadership development, and diversity and inclusion. She was the first developer hired at AppNexus, and formerly held the position of VP of engineering.

As SVP of professional services, Kapsch will lead all delivery and customer success teams globally. Since joining AppNexus in 2013, she has held a number of positions on the services team, most recently as VP.

As SVP of North American sales and account management, Rutledge will oversee all commercial initiatives with AppNexus’ supply-side partners. Previously, he held the position of VP of sales and account management at AppNexus.

As SVP of marketing and communications, Zeitz will lead a global team responsible for corporate reputation and branding, and commercial marketing and field enablement. Previously, he held the role of VP of corporate communications.
