New and returning sponsors for Ten’s ‘Masterchef’

Ahead of premiere episode of the sixth season of Masterchef Ten has announced Coles, Alfa Romeo, Harvey Norman, South Cape, King Island Dairy and Bendigo Bank are all on board as sponsors for 2014.

Coles and Alfa Romeo are returning Masterchef sponsors.

“We are thrilled to welcome some of Australia’s leading brands to the MasterChef Australia family for 2014,” Louise Barrett, Ten’s chief sales officer, said.

“MasterChef Australia is a proven and unique brand, consistently delivering integrated and tailored opportunities for our partners and sponsors.”

Coles marketing and store development director, Simon McDowell, said: “From the very first season, Coles has supported MasterChef Australia and together we have been inspired by the heat of the competition, the creativity of great food and the fantastic quality of our Australian fresh produce.

“We are excited to once again be supplying the MasterChef Australia pantry with the same great food customers will find in our stores.”

South Cape senior brand manager speciality cheese, Paolo Tapia, said: “South Cape is delighted to be stocking the fridge of MasterChef Australia with our premium range of cheeses. Together we are working to bring a touch of inspiration to the food creations of all Australian home cooks.”

The premiere episode will be broadcast tonight on Ten at 7.30pm with returning judges Matt Preston, George Calombaris and Gary Mehigan, as well as chef and food writer Kylie Kwong as a regular guest mentor.
