AAMI: Rhonda still 'hot like a sunrise' for Ketut

Rhonda, Ketut and Trent Toogood’s love triangle has come to an end as AAMI reveals Rhonda’s true love in the brand’s latest TVC.

The previous instalment in the popular holiday romance between AAMI’s safe-driver Rhonda and her Balinese beau, Ketut, implied the fling had skidded to a halt.

But the love affair between the two continues in the brand’s latest spot which is due to launch this Sunday, January 12.

The Ogilvy Melbourne created spot shows Rhonda sprinting into the school hall where she finds Ketut holding her “brake-foot bling” ankle bracelet.

Ketut says he is lost without his “Kuta goddess” and snaps the bracelet on her ankle.

In the previous campaign Rhonda was shown falling into the arms of Trent Toogood before he whipped her off her feet for a dance. Ketut later ran into the empty hall and was left dateless with his bouquet of flowers.

Following the ad a whosrightforrhonda.com.au site was launched by AAMI. The site asked fans to vote for who they thought was best for Rhonda. Ketut received 88,105 likes and Mr Trent Toogood was left in not-so-good second place with 66,079 votes.

No other details regarding the new campaign have been shared but more are expected to be revealed next week.
