Kenny Stewart takes up CEO reins at Mitchell & Partners and Vizeum

Aegis Media has announced that Kenny Stewart (pictured) has been appointed as the CEO to lead Mitchell & Partners and Vizeum across Australia and New Zealand.

Stewart takes up the newly created post to provide counsel on business strategy, commercial operations, business development, personnel management and client service to each agency.

Aegis said this will ensure that they are “working at full potential in their respective stages of development."

Stewart’s appointment broadens his current remit as managing director of Mitchells Brisbane. He will continue to build the Vizeum brand and its capabilities across its established offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

In addition, Stewart will extend his role with Mitchells, where he will be focused on ensuring that Mitchells remains a strong and prominent brand in the market.

Luke Littlefield, CEO of Aegis Media Australia & New Zealand, said: “Kenny is a person of outstanding character, capabilities and credentials with market-leading experience working with agencies and clients across the complete spectrum of size and scale. Kenny is a proven leader who is highly respected by his clients and our staff, and has strong relationships across the media industry.”

The appointment follows on from several recent key appointments within Aegis’ senior leadership team, including the promotion of David Stephenson and Simon Ryan, and Kylie Green’s appointment.

Stewart’s career in the marketing communications industry spans 20 years in the UK, Europe, South Africa and Australia with experience in marketing systems, direct marketing, CRM consulting and media.
