Messi dons LEDs for Adidas

Footballer Leo Messi is the star of a new UK-produced campaign for Adidas.

The campaign, called ‘Speed of light’, shows FC Barcelona player Messi donning an LED suit and kicking an LED football.

Hundreds of LEDs were sewn into Messi’s Adidas Techfit gear for the ad, which promoted the ‘light in motion’ design of his new Adidas football boot.

The spot, by Iris Worldwide's London office, ends with the line ‘light up the pitch’.
