    Specsavers Australia New Zealand has announced the addition of three industry experts to its marketing leadership team in an effort to maintain current growth for the Specsavers brand.

    Goran Majstorovic (pictured, centre), Heather Murphy (pictured, right) and Carley Swan (pictured, left) take on new leadership roles as part of the marketing leadership team led by Jane Hoban.

    Majstorovic steps into the role of head of brand creative for ANZ having worked for over 20 years in brand strategy, marketing and advertising. He has previously worked for 10 years at Coles Supermarkets leading the major retailer’s marketing, media and design functions.

    Murphy has been promoted from within the PR strategy divisions in Specsavers across Australia, New Zealand, Finland, Sweden, The Netherlands, Norway and Denmark into her new role as head of marketing – special projects in Australia and New Zealand.

    Prior to her most recent stint in Europe, Murphy worked to sign Australian designers including Carla Zampatti and Ellery to work with the Specsavers Style division. She was also responsible for the CSR
    partnerships with The Fred Hollows Foundation, establishing the successful fundraising Limited Edition frame range which continues today.

    Swan steps up from senior CRM manager to head of CRM for Specsavers Australia and New Zealand, having worked with Specsavers and the CRM team for over five years supporting and owning local and global MarTech, data and CX projects.

    Swan has previous experience working with Coles to promote campaigns and partnerships for the company and its Flybuys loyalty program. She has been an integral part of the development of Specsavers’ customer journey.

    Director of marketing Jane Hoban said: “This is a really exciting time for Specsavers Australia and New Zealand. I am so pleased for Heather to be returning to us from Specsavers Europe, for Carley to be taking the step up and for Goran to be joining us. These people bring a wealth of experience to the leadership team, and their involvement in future projects that will continue building the Specsavers brand, helping us make a true impact on the health and wellbeing of Australians and New Zealanders.”

    The positions are effective immediately.
