Casefile True Crime Knocks Hamish & Andy Off Top Spot In Triton’s Podcast Ranker

After three months in the top spot, LiSTNR’s Hamish & Andy podcast has been outdone by Audioboom’s Casefile True Crime.

With 1,000,359 monthly listeners and 2,529,353 downloads in October, Casefile True Crime have truly cemented itself as the leader for Triton’s Podcast Ranker.

Hamish & Andy reported 900,634 monthly listeners and 1,916,653 monthly downloads, an increase from last month but not enough to secure the lead.

In third was ARN/iHeartMedia’s Life Uncut with Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne. It had 459,778 monthly listeners and 1,228,700 monthly downloads.

ARN/iHeartMedia continues to hold the number one podcast publisher with 3,012,464 monthly listeners and monthly downloads, 12,991,004.

ARN’s head of digital audio, Corey Layton said: “Since launch, the iHeartPodcast Network Australia has been committed to delivering the best audio content to our audiences, and being named as Australia’s #1 Podcast Network for the 18th consecutive time is an unbelievable achievement.”

In the top 25 alone LiSTNR and ARN/iHeartMedia both had 5 podcasts, News Corp Australia had 4, and Audioboom and NOVA Entertainment both had 3. It should be noted that both ARN/iHeartRadio and Audioboom are represented by the ARN/iHeartPodcast network in Australia.

The biggest jump in the rankings was The West Live From West Australian Newspapers which leaped a massive 31 positions up to 26th. Meanwhile, the biggest drop was Whateley a Sports Entertainment Network podcast that fell a massive 43 spots to 83.
